What are you doing in 2010. Well if you have very little going on during that time why not enjoy the World Famous Abundis Family Reunion. As of this publication the exact date (it will be in the summer) and location has not been determined. The only exact thing that has occured is the year. Yep we are going to do it and you are needed to participate in feedback and planning.
It is our intent to include not only the immediate Abundis family but our large extended family that has for years felt a part of us, what sad mis-guided souls. But we feel honored that they wish to be a part of us.
So what do you need to do. # 1 suggest a venue. Where would you like to meet. # 2 what would you enjoy seeing offered as activities or local interest. The rest we will provide as time goes on.

After some things that have happened recently (Angie making contact with our Abundis cousins) I would like to suggest that we have the reunion in Twin Falls and make it a real whoop dee do!! Lets invite EVERYONE!! The California Abundis's and the Lopez family. In Twin Falls we can use our backyard as a meeting place, visiting, impromtue meals. We can BBQ or potluck. There is nearby golfing, fishing, 4wheeling...for the kids there is swimming, parks, and a few other things I have in mind. Please know that this is JUST a suggestion. I hope we hear from more of you with ideas. Lets make it grand!!!! YYYAAAHHHOOOO
Something I forgot to mention....for the actual reunion date...the big gathering and dinner there are so many places around Twin Falls, numerous parks, Shoshone Falls, Twin Falls, there are even places if we need to rent an indoor place. There is the Veterans Hall that we had for Tori's wedding, its only 100.00 and it has a kitchen we can use.
honestabe? Interesting. Very interesting. Am I considered an outlaw? I looooooooooooooooooooove cowboys. But mostly I would love to attend the abundis family reunion and how ironic that I live in the area. It would be so great to see all of my peeps again.
Is Sam an outlaw-yep I think she definitely qualifies. Besides she is so fun to have around to tease. I think that she is definitely on the guest list as a VIP
i agree with the setting being in Twin. there is so much more space and the summers tend to be drier. also, it is more centralized.
kent, also, is hoping to be there to meet his second family.
i only have one request, because i am not able to take leave from August 10 through September 30 of any year, could we schedule this around the 4th of July?
Here's a wild idea-
If we choose to do another white elephant gift exchange, maybe it could have a theme...like all gifts start with the letter 'A', or something like that.
I like the ideas...does anyone know when 4th of July falls in 2010? I kind of like the white elephant idea and I have been coming up with some great ideas!!!! What we need more imput from the others. I would really like to start as close the first of the year as I can. So come on everyone!!! Where is your imput????? I guess I may have to email everyone. Those of you that are reading this maybe can pass things on by word of mouth and pass on the feed back. Thanks!!!
we are going to have to start hearing from everyone to make overnight stay arrangements. i don't think Steph is going to be able to put us all up at her place. i know there are motels, and camping places for those that have RV's. too bad Mrs. White is gone, we could rented out her entire place! lol

I think having the reunion in Twin Falls is a great idea. I do have some concern with it being over the 4th of July. Airfares are higher over holidays and it is more difficult to find rooms and campground space. The accomodations may not be a big issue as we have pleanty of notice. My boys will have to fly in and possible Betty and others, so that is a major concern for me. However, having expressed my concern, I will go with the majority decision without any stink. As far as activities, I tend to be a "little" lazy and enjoy just visiting and catching up. I will be available to help with details.
okay....we have heard from SEVEN out of the FOUR HUNDRED THITY TWO!!! Lets have some feed back on some other dates. I know that for a couple August is out. I am good for anytime. C'mon everybody.
I don't know what I am doing here but here it is a again.
As long as it is not the last weekend of June or during June, it is fine in Twin Falls.
